Aye, Sushi Lovers: SUSHI-CON 2026 Is Returning to NYC!

If sushi is your everything, your first and last love, you'll want to save October 11, 2026 on that calendar of yours! 

SUSHI-CON 2026 is making its return to Pier 36 in NYC, and this year's festival promises to be the biggest one yet. From unlimited tastings to live tuna-cutting demonstrations, it’s seems like it just might be an enjoyable day for anyone who adores Japanese cuisine. 

Thankfully so, SUSHI-CON has outgrown its previous space and is expanding with more than 60 exhibitors from the U.S., Japan, and beyond (I know that’s right!). So, expect everything from bluefin tuna and fresh uni to Japanese A5 Wagyu, matcha treats, yuzu, wasabi, and other authentic flavors that are hard to find all in one place. 

One of the biggest highlights? The festival's 400-pound bluefin tuna cutting show is back!

However, this time there will be two live demonstrations. Watching skilled sushi chefs expertly break down a massive tuna before sampling freshly prepared otoro, chutoro, and akami is an experience that's as entertaining as it is delicious. 

You’ll also be able to browse curated shopping, meet chefs and food producers, and enjoy dishes from acclaimed restaurants throughout the day. While restaurant offerings are available for purchase, admission includes unlimited food sampling from exhibitors, making it easy to discover new favorites. Bring an empty belly. 

Tickets go on sale, Today, July 22 at 11 a.m. ET, with full-day and half-day passes available. I strongly suggest that you grab your tickets early. This is a popular event that brings in 3,000+ guests.
