The largest consumer sushi festival in the US returns to NYC with a 400-pound live tuna cutting show

Get ready to roll, New York.

SUSHI-CON 2026 is officially making its massive return for a third consecutive year. Known as the largest consumer sushi festival in the United States, this year’s event promises to be its most exciting one yet.

Over 3,000 attendees are expected to gather and celebrate Japanese cuisine and culture.

An unlimited seafood and Wagyu wonderland
Because of its popularity, the festival is expanding to a larger venue. Over 60 renowned exhibitors from Japan, the US, and around the globe will be taking over Pier 36 on Sunday, October 11.

The ticket includes unlimited tastings of premium seafood. Get ready to feast on absolute favorites like bluefin tuna, sea urchin (uni), caviar, scallops, sea bream, amberjack, and salmon.

If you need a break from the ocean’s bounty, you are in luck. The festival will also feature authentic Japanese A5 Wagyu, matcha, yuzu, wasabi, beverages, and specialty desserts.

Two spectacular live tuna-cutting shows
The festival’s most iconic signature attraction is back. You can catch a thrilling 400+ pound Bluefin Tuna Cutting Show at either 12:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m..

Expert sushi chefs will carve the massive fish live on stage. Watch every step of the process before you enjoy freshly prepared tastings of otoro, chutoro, and akami.
